THE COMPANY

The company was as G1 Couture and registered with IEC, Ministry of Commerce and Industry on 21 December, 1999, with its registered office at C-101, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I, New Delhi, India. The company started with the objective of supplying high-end, hand embellished garments and accessories to exclusive and reputed fashion houses worldwide. Today the company supplies to most of the reputed buyers in the international market. Over the years, the company has earned itself a great deal of goodwill in the field of high fashion evening wear. The company has its own manufacturing unit at C-101, Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi. Processes like washing, stitching, repairing, steaming and finishing are all done IN-HOUSE. The factory is built in a government-approved industrial area and is built keeping in mind the compliance requirements of international buyers. The production sites are approved from third-party compliance agencies. We are also in the process of fitting out another unit at A 203 Okhla industrial Area Phase-I.

Modern Unit Launched

In fact the new showroom is already functional there. This unit will enhance our production capacity by more than double as this unit is much bigger than the existing facility. It has state of the art modern facilities including lifts etc for the comfort of the buyers. Needless to say, this unit is also made as per compliance norms of the industry. All the raw material and accessories to manufacture the garments are easily available in the local market of Delhi. It also has tie-up with some of the fabric manufacturers in Surat. The Company is also having access to imported raw material and components against advance license. The garments are beaded in Delhi as well as adjoining cities of Sikanderabad, Bareilly and Lucknow. The Company is registered with the Sales Tax, Income Tax and other statutory bodies as also with various Export Promotion Councils and Chambers of Commerce. Ghai Creations has a production capacity to manufacture 30,000-40,000 pcs. per month of beaded garments.

MANAGEMENT AND STAFF

G1 Couture was started as a family-owned enterprise by Mr. Balwant Singh Ghai and his sons backed by a Management comprised of professionals highly experienced in their field of work.

Mr. Balwant Singh

Mr. Balwant Singh Ghai had a vast experience of over two decades in Multinational business. He was the Sales agent for Central and Western Asia of Tyre manufacturing Companies of JAPAN (Bridgestone & Sumitomo) and INDIA (Dunlop, Ceat, MRF, and Apollo). Mr. Ghai is the Chairman of the group and shares his immense experience in the fields of sales and finances of the company.

Mr. Bhupinder Singh

Mr. Bhupinder Singh Ghai is Chief Executive. As FOUNDER of the company, he brings with him immense experience gathered while working hands-on in the trade for more than two decades. Have been handling all the executive functions since the inception of the company. Right from the product development stage , buyer meetings and presentations, business trips overseas and local and negotiating and closing orders with some of the most reputed fashion brands and houses from around the world. Have also been instrumental in clearing tough compliance needs of the buyers with regards to Corporate Social Responsibility and Health and Safety audits. He is also responsible for making Ghai Creations the TOP vendor of all our buyers like Adrianna Papell, Mango, Zalando, etc. He looks after the production as well as the sales of the company. He also undertakes business promotion tours to Europe & the U.S.A.

Mr. Rajwinder Singh

Mr. Rajwinder Singh Ghai is the General Manager and takes care of majority of the Production Planning and Control. He also assists in the administration. His duties and responsibilities include Production Planning and Scheduling, fabrication, Quality Control, finishing and packing. He manages their QC staff in routine inspections and meeting their TAC (Time Action Calendar) and Deliveries.

Mr. Jaswinder Singh

Mr. Jaswinder Singh Ghai is a NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) postgraduate. He takes care of sampling as well as other merchandising duties. He acts as the interface between the company and different buying houses.
